Your mission will be…

• As Consultant & Developer CER (Credit and Equity Risk Controlling) Data Science, you understand the specific requirements of Siemens Financial Services. In an agile environment, you will accompany the implementation in applications end-to-end, from requirement analysis to the development process to operation itself.

• You are familiar with Siemens Financial Services´ central risk topics, especially with risk controlling, reporting / KPIs and using simulation tools.

• Within the framework of an agile CER Data Science approach, you design and develop interactive web applications in a cloud-based Kubernetes environment.

• You design and verify functional requirements and standards and classify them. Reliable maintaining accurate records, logs and technical documentation files is a given for you.

• Furthermore, you co-develop risk-related analytical applications, create documentation, and perform appropriate tests. You know about the requirements from compliance and regulation and implement them.

• You support SFS IT in technical cloud-based IT operations and maintenance activities, improve them and ensure compliance with the appropriate standards.

• Close cooperation with various internal stakeholders (including business departments, IT architects, service providers, etc.) is part of you daily work routine.

• On top you advise and support internal customers with individual business analyses, including special questions that might not be in the standard functionality toolset.

• You are in responsibility of know-how transfer to CER as well as to support customers of CER.

We are looking for someone with…

• You have successfully completed your Master's degree in a relevant field of study. Alternatively, you have completed your apprenticeship, together with some years of professional experience and extended additional qualifications/trainings.

• Advanced knowledge of R/Shiny coding is one of your strengths.

• Our technologies (AWS / e.g. Azure Kubernetes Service), program languages (R / Shiny and/or Python) and interfaces (WebServices, SQL) are well known to you.

• Knowledge of risk modeling, valuation and reporting systems are the foundation of your implementation skills.

• You are competent in using SQL for database querying and management and feel comfortable in GitLab for version control, collaboration, and CI/CD pipelines

• You grasp the core concepts of establishing and managing database connections via ODBC

• Modularized software packages and you have a good understanding of quality methodologies and tools.

• By working collaboratively and engaging with your team and beyond, you create an environment of trust that fosters mutual progress.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools and Sharepoint as collaborative platform for document management

• Fluent English skills complete your profile.

• Basic knowledge of Python/Streamlit for data visualization and web apps might be nice.
