NYS DOCCS Altona Correctional Facility Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator 3 in Altona, New York
Serve as chief operator or assist higher level staff in the safe and efficient operation of a wastewater treatment plant. Must be DEC certified as a grade 3 or 3A Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Duties include: regulation compliance and operation of plant, monitoring control panel, gauges, and flow meters, taking samples, chemical testing, adjusting valves, gates, etc., maintaining required records, inventory equipment, requisition materials needed, all within the rules and regulations of a NYS correctional facility.
