Overview

Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.

The ECHO and Stress department of Alton Memorial performs in depth testing to determine the functioning the human heart

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs a variety of cardiology procedures, including EKG's, stress tests, and assisting in the Cardiac Cath Lab as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses and evaluates patient before and after stress test.

  • Provides all aspects of stress testing, including providing patient education.

  • Prepares patients for cardiac caths and recovers patients.

  • Completes all aspects of EKG testing.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • <2 years

Supervisor Experience

  • < 2 years

Licenses & Certifications

  • Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup

Preferred Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • Vasomedical EECP training
