The role you’ll contribute:

The Manager of Hospital Medicine and Clinical Performance under the direction of the Director of Hospital Medicine leads and coordinates the Hospital Medicine program across AH to improve performance of Hospitalists and Hospital Medicine Groups to meet System Hospital Medicine Purpose and Performance Goals. The Manager of Hospital Medicine and Clinical Performance will manage and direct projects involving Hospital Medicine including clinical, business, staffing, finance, operational efficiency, mission and provider well-being efforts. The Manager will be directly responsible for managing communication forums with Hospitalists and Hospital Medicine leaders. The Manager of Hospital Medicine and Clinical Performance will provide consultative services to providers including direct interaction with Hospitalists, Hospital Medicine Groups (HMG), and facility administrative leaders with the goal of improving outcomes. The Manager of Hospital Medicine and Clinical Performance will be expected to be able to research and develop solutions for identified AdventHealth HMG provider operational deficiencies and develop and execute educational plans. The Manager of Hospital Medicine and Clinical Performance will be accountable for process implementation projects and will be expected to be able to develop and lead other projects as required.

The value that you bring to the team:

· Collaborate with AdventHealth Clinical, Hospital Medicine Team(s) and other Corporate assets to develop and implement operational improvements at System, Facility and Hospital Medicine Group level that improve performance of Hospital Medicine providers.

· Build Partnerships with Hospital Medicine Leaders/Groups to implement education and/or process changes including Onboarding Education.

· Provide oversight and management for Hospital Medicine Performance Reviews (HMPR) including organization, prep sessions, post-follow up

· Provide oversight and support for the Hospital Medicine Leadership Program including projects and content

· Educate Hospitalists, Hospital Medicine Groups and Administrative teams in best operational practices including Epic optimization

· Assist Director of Hospital Medicine, in collaboration with other AH assets to develop an AH Hospital Medicine Best Practice Model.

· Coordinate operations of AHC Hospital Medicine team with other AHC departments as required.

· Assist Director of Hospital Medicine in analysis and evaluation of Facility Hospital Medicine Group(s) operations, finance and implementation of recommend changes required to improve performance.

· Develop and manage Hospital Medicine Communication Forums such as Sharepoint and newsletter

· Collaborate with AdventHealth Clinical stakeholders in executing Hospital Medicine Initiatives.

· Collaborate with AdventHealth Corporate Analytics stakeholders in executing Hospital Medicine Initiatives related to metrics and performance.

· Understand Hospital Medicine outcomes and operational metrics.

· Operationalize use of analytics and leverage data to affect performance improvement.

· Develop professional presentations for teaching or communicating to Hospitalists or Hospital Medicine Leaders

· Develop, lead and manage projects as needed in cooperation with the Director of Hospital Medicine.

· Provide strategy insight to assist the Hospital Medicine department and team to best practice standards and performance.

· Advocate with strong change management skills

· Manage daily operations for system Hospital Medicine Team

· Collaborate and strategize with system Hospital Medicine leaders to improve performance

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in healthcare

· 5 years healthcare clinical experience, strong clinical background required

· 3 Process Improvement experience

· 3 Leadership experience

· Licensed LPN, RN, APRN, PA or similar clinical degree

Preferred Qualifications :

· Master’s degree in healthcare or business-related field

· Lean or Six Sigma certification

· Physician Recruitment and Contracting experience

· Healthcare Regulatory and Compliance requirements

· Hospital Medicine Group Performance

· Understanding of EMR operability

· Prosci Change management practitioner
