Job Overview:
HSES supervisor, for any safety issues and thus work safely at all times. Interact with the pailería department to see the work areas that can be worked on. Interacts with the quality control area for the delivery of visual inspections to welds. With the maintenance department for the inspection of the equipment and power tool.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
Process, analyze and execute the tasks established in the construction and/or administrative processes.
Carry out supervision in accordance with technical and quality specifications during the construction and installation stages.
Issue reports on the progress and compliance of projects.
Comply with the necessary safety requirements and consumables for the performance of the work.
That the personnel in their charge comply with the procedures and policies established in QHSES and ensure at all times that they do not expose themselves or their colleagues to any risk.
Have the personnel in charge attend the daily morning talk to share safety, production, quality and administrative issues to comply with the company's procedures.
Apply HSES procedures and systems at work, e.g.: HIT, TRA, BBS card.
Keep the work area clean, tidy and free of hazards during the day.
Comply with the alcohol and drug policy established by the company.
Always carry out activities with the best safe work practices.
Report incidents immediately to the supervisor and the security department.
Follow up on the daily work schedules, sharing with the personnel in charge the guidelines required for their compliance.
Supervise the development of the activities, ensuring that the technical specifications and requirements of the client and current standards are complied with in order to comply with the production plans with timeliness and quality.
Ensure that the roles and responsibilities of the personnel under their charge have been defined and communicated appropriately.
Participate in daily meetings with the welding supervisor, in order to review performance results to plan necessary actions.
Responsible for ensuring that welding work is carried out properly in a timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring that welding work does not affect or damage personnel or equipment that are in the line of fire with them.
Directly responsible for welding work at height; whether on scaffolding or layette, all safety procedures are followed, including barricading the area.
Organize required support to other disciplines.
Promote a culture of leading by example for all matters related to safety and safe work.
Always maintain an advance view of the work to be carried out in order to coordinate the necessary requirements in time, which allow the best use of personnel and resources.
Report directly to the welding supervisor, coordinating work plans and packages.
That the personnel in charge make good correct and efficient use of the welding equipment and tools, as well as the consumables and facilities.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
High School or Technical Career (can be validated with experience in the discipline)
A minimum of 3 years of experience performing functions related to the position and the exercise of the discipline is required.
