Randstad is currently working with a client that is looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanic. They are located in Alsip, IL (60803).

We also have opportunities in Schaumburg, Buffalo Grove, and Carol Stream, IL as well!

Basic Details-

Hours-

2nd shift Monday thru Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm

3rd shift- Sunday thru Thursday 11pm-7:30am

Pay Rate-$32-$40 hourly DOE

salary: $32 - $40 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform design and fabrication of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, controls, control related

• equipment/instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient manner to ensure continuity of operations

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, plan and repair equipment as required. Determines materials,

• replacement parts, and Tools/parts needed to proceed with a logical approach to repairs, maintenance and rebuilds. This would include PLC.

• Program troubleshooting, reprogramming, and instrumentation repair.

• Performs PLC control level diagnosis by monitoring PLC programs and installs, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs major electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems and peripheral

• Reads complex electronic, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, electrical wiring diagrams and shop drawings for the purpose of installation, troubleshooting and repairing of major systems and minor subsystems and components.

• Installs electrical conduit and wiring for electrical circuits.

• Performs electrical installations in compliance with the national electrical code.

• Performs soldering on electronic components and mechanical repairs as required.

• Performs preventive maintenance through inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, equipment

• Set-up, adjust, calibrate, and operate equipment; perform layout and bench work; inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle

• Repair, rebuild, assemble, weld, install and lubricate machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

• Electronic Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

• hydraulic/pneumatic (3 years of experience is required)

• PLCs (3 years of experience is required)

• 480v Troubleshooting (3 years of experience is required)
