The USIS Data Leader will be responsible for all aspects of the data strategy for Equifax's USIS business unit and will lead the USIS Data organization in the execution of that strategy. Working closely with partners across Technology, Product, and Compliance, the USIS Data Leader will define Equifax's data strategy with regard to optimizing Equifax's investments in data assets, maximizing the value of data products for customers, and ensuring robust data management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. What you'll do

Data Strategy Develop and maintain understanding of the data needs inherent in the business strategies of multiple lines of business: what data we have, what data we need, how we need to manage our data to maximize its value and reliability over time, and how we can (and cannot) use it to generate value and competitive advantage Work across the business unit to develop and execute a cohesive data strategy across multiple lines of business

Data Acquisition Identify data partners and source data in alignment with data strategy Proactively identify and research new sources of data

Data Product Ownership Develop data product strategies and own the execution of those strategies across multiple teams to ensure the financial success of data products Build an environment focused on a metrics-driven, product-thinking mindset to ensure data product requirements are met, expectations are exceeded, and data products are built in collaboration with stakeholders and partners across the business unit to drive business growth Utilize expertise, a metrics-driven focus, and deep understanding of market trends to lead new data product initiatives and programs that bring in new data pipelines, add to our existing strategy and data products, and lead Equifax to be a market leader

Data Management and Governance Create a standardized operating model for data management and define roles and responsible for all key aspects of data management and governance Develop and implement a data quality framework to ensure that Equifax's data is of high quality and meets all stakeholders' expectations Monitor and manage compliance with data policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements across Equifax's data lifecycle

What experience you need Bachelor's degree in related discipline required, Master's degree preferred 15 years of analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, including multiple areas of financial services data 7 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing professionals and experience developing and leading strategic initiatives Experience leading cross-functional development/improvement and implementation of business strategy, operating models, and business capabilities (people, process, and IT) Experience driving expectations regarding data guidelines, standards, and frameworks Proven leadership in creating tools and frameworks to understand the state of data exchanges and data assets, the value each data asset generates, and optimizing the return on investment for data assets Experience developing data management policies and procedures as well as creating an operating model to efficiently and effectively manage a company's data assets while meeting regulatory and legal obligations
