Job Title : Principal Application Developer – Policy Development
Location : Alpharetta, GA
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Application Developer - Policy Development at our Alpharetta, Georgia location. Responsibilities: Work with development partners to define system-to-system interactions with the Next Gen Payroll system. Establish Global Payroll Policy Development Standards and Governance and train policy developers on the standards. Develop payroll policies for payroll calculations to satisfy business and statutory requirements. Analyze software requirements to understand new/enhanced payroll/tax processing logic. Participate in story mapping sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Facilitate Specification by Example (SBE) sessions to understand assigned features. Write and maintain test scenarios and test cases for complex payroll/tax features. Transform test cases into the automation framework. Validate test results against product requirements. Participate in sprint planning, standups, story definition, story estimation and other agile/scrum development activities
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus seven years of experience.
Three (3) years of experience must include: HCM/Payroll concepts and processes, including SAP, Globalview, Ultimate or Ceridian; Payroll Implementation and Client On-boarding processes; Testing Payroll and Parallel Runs; Relational databases and SQL; Software Project Management tools including JIRA, VersionOne, or ServiceManager; Wiki tools including Confluence, or Sharepoint; Database tools including Oracle or Sequel Pro; SQL Tools including MySQL Workbench, or SAP Data browser; API development tools including POSTMAN, SoapUI, or Swagger; and Integrated Development Environment including IntelliJ, or Eclipse.
