Job Title : Principal Application Developer
Location : Alpharetta, GA
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Application Developer at our Alpharetta, GA location. Responsibilities: Participate in the development, integration, launch, scaling, and maintenance of new and existing software products and solutions. Ensure quality of developed code utilizing Test Driven Development methods. Provide software design directives to construct and integrate software to meet all functional and non-functional requirements. Establish fine-grained components, application programming interfaces, and frameworks (development and runtime) of software systems based on solution requirements. Establish and improve software application development approaches, including tools, processes, and frameworks.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering discipline or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus four (4) years of experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree plus seven (7) years of experience.
Two (2) years of experience must include: Java 8+; JVM Ecosystem; Domain driven design concepts; Microservices; Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud Data Flow); NoSQL Data Stores and polyglot persistence (MongoDB or Neo4J); Caching framework (Redis or memcached); Integration frameworks, including Apigee or Mulesoft; Distributed systems concepts; Event Sourcing and distributed message systems, including JMS, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ; Gradle; Maven; Test Driven Development (TDD); Behavior Driven Developer (BDD); and Cloud based IaaS.
