LG Home Appliances Program Director

LG Electronics / MarketSource is currently seeking a Program Director. The position requires a combination of retail sales, operations, and account management experience with direct and indirect staff. The Program Director will be responsible for sales performance as well as the development of the operations infrastructure. As the Program Director, you will be responsible for leading all day-to-day sales and operations functions for a large field based team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a single point of contact and strategic consultant for client

• Oversees all full-time and part-time sales, marketing and operations efforts

• Manage to overall client satisfaction with service provided

• Ensure program resources are managed effectively

• Ensure field execution and effectiveness

• Develop marketing and sales objectives with Client

• Measure and report on sales results.

• Improve field execution and ensure regional resources are managed effectively to client objectives

• Work with client to develop marketing and sales strategies

• Monitor and manage sales goals specific to client’s national program initiatives

• Create and recommend processes for overall program improvements

• Serve as the liaison to and top-line manager of all program personnel

• Build solid business relationships by using interpersonal skills and consultative approach

• Accountable for ensuring all channel initiatives and objectives are met and executed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• BS/BA Degree required

• A combination of retail sales, sales management and operational skills is a must

• 5-7 Years of retail sales, sales management experience

• 5-7 years sales program management experience in technology, home appliance, or home entertainment industry required

• Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills

• Demonstrated operational and process skills

• Strong business and industry acumen

• Experience in managing a national, remote sales management team

• Proactive, “can-do” attitude

• Strategic planning and implementation experience

• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

• Ability to travel at least 75%.

Additional Requirements:

• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing and moving items

• Requires the ability to move around the store, assist customers and maneuver merchandise when necessary

• Performs additional job duties as assigned

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently
