Robert Half IT Support Specialist in Alpharetta, Georgia

Description

We are currently seeking a diligent IT Support Specialist onsite with one of our clients in Alpharetta, GA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in information technology support. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of computers and business-related software applications. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring all our technology infrastructure are in a functioning and optimized condition. Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users remotely and onsite.

  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues with various technological systems and network.

  • Perform specific IT hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates.

  • Resolve all levels of IT service requests by conducting problem diagnosis while administering effective and prompt solutions.

  • Maintain active inventory of hardware assets and software license.

  • Keep abreast of latest IT trends and advances to apply appropriate upgrades to company infrastructure.

  • Prepare clear and concise documentation and reports on all IT issues, fixes, and updates.

  • Collaborate with IT team and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support position.

  • Proficient in various IT systems, software applications, and knowledge of network configuration.

  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.

  • Good communication and team-collaboration skills.

  • IT certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) would be an added advantage.

  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.

The IT Support Specialist will report directly to the IT Manager and will have the potential for career advancement for top performers.
