Siemens Corp., IT Americas organization is seeking qualified candidates for its IT Americas Internship Program in Marketing & Communications beginning in May 2025. This program is based in Alpharetta, GA.

Role Description:

As an IT Marketing and Communications Intern, you will support the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies that promote our IT services and initiatives across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT and communications team to create content, develop presentations for executives, and assist in various marketing projects.

The employee responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Assist in creating and managing content for various channels, including newsletters, SharePoint sites, internal social media, and presentations, to effectively communicate IT initiatives and updates.

  • Support the design and production of high-quality presentations for executives, all-hands meetings, and other various meetings, ensuring technical information is communicated clearly and engagingly.

  • Collaborate with IT leadership to craft clear and compelling messages for internal stakeholders about IT projects, goals, and achievements.

  • Assist in organizing in-person employee events that foster team collaboration and boost workplace morale.

  • Help plan, execute, and measure internal marketing campaigns that promote IT services and increase user engagement.

  • Interface with other local and global departments to coordinate regional-aligned strategies and deliverables.

  • Present to management , oral and/or written, reports and proposals covering research topics.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Current junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Candidates must not be graduating prior to September 2025.

  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, International Affairs, or a related field

  • Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Alpharetta, GA and be able to work 40 hours per week from May to August.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.

  • Basic graphic design skills or experience with video editing software is a plus.

  • Strong interest in IT concepts and the ability to learn how to translate technical information into clear and engaging content.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment.

  • Self-starter who can effectively manage and prioritize a variety of concurrent activities.

  • Candidates may be asked to provide examples of PowerPoint presentations and written work.
