We have an entrepreneurial spirit that's brought us a lot of success and we're looking for a Financial Analyst to join the team in our corporate offices in Alpharetta. This provides support to the company's financial planning and analysis processes including: create, maintain, and update financial models supporting forecasting and budgeting processes for all cross-functional lines of business; coordinating and maintaining consolidated company and line of business standard reporting along with validation and reconciliation of the underlying financial reporting data and operational systems; and special projects support.

At HoneyBaked, we have a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home!

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Provide support for analytical activities related company's overhead function: Supply Chan Services, HR, IT, Transformation, Legal, Accounting & Finance, etc focused on selling, general and administrative expenses

• Support to business partners across the financial planning cycle including budgets, forecasts, outlook, and other related analyses

• Decision support lead in headcount management company wide

• Decision support lead for month end, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the company wide capital budget/spend

• Partner with overhead cost center owners to validate accuracy and understanding of financial results

• Development and continuous improvement of tracking and forecasting models and tools related to headcount and capital

• Compares actual costs to estimates/budgets/forecasts, analyzes variances and reports on variances, causes, and mix analysis for P&L expenses and capital expenditures

• Various special projects

YOUR TRACK RECORD

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with an MBA a plus. 5 + years related Finance and/or Accounting experience. Retail, hospitality or restaurant industry experience a plus. Knowledge of D365 financials and IBM Planning Analytics reporting tools. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and appropriate application. Experience with headcount/comp and capital expenditures a plus.

Experience with evaluating and improving accounting processes, information systems, financial controls, and cash flow improvements. Detailed knowledge of relational database concepts and client/server technology. Proficient with Microsoft desktop applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) Proficient in Excel based charts/graphs. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail oriented, self-motivated, and highly analytical. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
