ADP Director, Technology Strategy in Alpharetta, Georgia

ADP is hiring a Director of Technology Strategy. The Director of Tech Strategy will partner closely with ADP executives to create and continually improve our corporate strategy as well as lead strategic initiatives that drive shareholder value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and strategically, identifying key challenges, breaking down complex issues, and developing data-driven, actionable solutions that align with organizational objectives.

  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Drive innovation and creative problem-solving by staying ahead of industry and technology trends that influence ADP’s business and solutions.

  • Strategic Planning: Enhance and support strategic planning processes in collaboration with Strategy, Operations, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align with business objectives .

  • Stakeholder Management & Communications: Develop and manage strategic messaging and communication to leadership and the broader organization, providing updates on progress and outcomes of key initiatives.

  • Team Building and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, cultivating a high-performance culture that emphasizes critical thinking, continuous learning, and professional growth

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration across business, product, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of key programs and initiatives

  • Collaboration on Priority Programs: In collaboration with Operations, lead programs to plan and execute, ensuring accountability for outcomes by managing risks, allocating resources, tracking progress, and meeting key milestones and timelines.

  • Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Operations to establish data driven metrics and analysis, enabling informed decision-making and fostering continuous improvement in processes and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Experience : 10 plus years of relevant experience in strategy, with a strong background in a top-tier consulting firm, leading projects, managing teams, and building client relationships. Alternatively, experience in product or corporate strategy at a technology company.

  • Key Skills :

  • Proven ability to develop and evaluate strategies, including identifying key issues, framing hypotheses, conducting market research, and crafting actionable execution plans.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering compelling messages to diverse audiences, including executives, customers, and partners.

  • Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing cross-functional teams with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities and driving results.
