Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Associatein Alpharetta, GA
Design, implement, and test data integration and reporting platform within the Middle Office department. Implement core modules for the platform and build solutions in a big data streaming and analytical space. Develop software solutions to mitigate business issues and enhance the customer experience. Participate in software architecture and design discussions, white board solutions, and communicate designs to other team members. Develop software solutions in a lean-agile methodology and improve, optimize, and repeat in an accelerated development cycle. Create technical documentation for the product, business user guide, and other run books. Research and learn new technologies.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Software Engineer, Developer, or a closely related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: data integration using standard ETL tools including Python; RDBMS systems including MS-SQL or Teradata; Shell, Python, and PySpark scripts for batch processing in Windows, Linux, and Unix environment; integrating various systems using heterogeneous data sources including REST and SOAP Services, and database; Data Modeling, and Query tuning. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Spark; Big Data in Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive; Kafka messaging and Spring frameworks; Stored Procedure, and NoSQL; Control-M or Autosys.
