Provide critical production operation support for various database systems and infrastructures. Perform routine maintenance tasks, install and configure database software. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot. Work on database design, workload management, optimization and query tuning. Engage with infrastructure support vendors, set up accounts, create and implement warehouses per application needs. Set up optimal strategies to maintain fair credit consumption.__
_Requirements_:
Requires a Master’s Degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Database Administrator, Data Engineer, UNIX Engineer, or closely related role.
Requires Two (2) years of experience with: GreenPlum; V4; V5; and V6; Snowflake Cloud; Postgres Databases; Python; and ANSIBLE. Requires One (1) year of experience with: Shell Scripting; SQL Development; Linux Server; and Relational Databases.
