Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Alpharetta, Georgia for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of our company's accounts receivable function. This position will be located in a dynamic workplace setting and will require a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and dispatch invoices to clients in a timely manner

• Ensure the accuracy of all invoices and their adherence to the correct terms and conditions

• Record and process incoming payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments

• Apply payments to corresponding invoices in the accounting system

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up on overdue invoices

• Arrange payment plans if necessary and maintain records of all collection efforts

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and provide insights and analysis on payment trends and outstanding balances

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments professionally and promptly

• Resolve any issues or disputes related to invoices

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable transactions Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proven experience in Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures

• Experience in handling Billing Functions

• Ability to manage Cash Activity

• Knowledge of Check Processing

• At least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field is preferred

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• High level of integrity and reliability

• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
