We have a client seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with proficiency in SAGE50 accounting software to join their accounting team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing their financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. Your expertise in SAGE50 will be instrumental in optimizing their accounting systems and workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy. This role is located in Alpharetta and fully in the office. Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00pm

salary: $23 - $24 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations, utilizing SAGE50 software to maintain accurate financial records.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting systems and procedures, leveraging SAGE50 capabilities to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Must be experienced in SAGE50.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
