Citigroup Currency Control Specialist in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Responsibilities:

  • Performing the function of currency control agent

  • Checking contracts for assignment of the registration number of contract

  • Timely entry into the database for currency control: payments, certificates of work performed, declarations, contracts, invoices

  • Preparation of reports for submission to the National Bank

  • Consultation of clients on currency control issues

  • Implementation of additional tasks and instructions of the department's management

  • Check the customer's application for the purchase of foreign currency for domestic currency in excess of a 50 000 USD in an equivalent to having a goal of buying, as well as the Contract, pursuant to which the purchased foreign currency, and (or) other documents confirming the purpose of the purchase

Qualifications:

  • Very good knowledge of English and Russian

  • Computer proficiency

  • Previous relevant experience will be an asset

  • Effective verbal and written skills

  • Effective communication and analytical skills
