Job Overview The Shipping Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment while meeting safety, quality and productivity standards. Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive paperwork from office for future shipments.
- Process paperwork according to product received from production department.
- Organize incomplete orders in the shipping area.
- Print and apply customer specific and appropriate shipping labels, barcodes and/or packing lists in preparation for shipments.
- Stage product in the proper area for shipment.
- Assist receiving as needed.
- Banding and wrapping products as needed.
- Track internal movements of late or soon to be late orders.
- Use forklift to move finished goods as needed.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to appropriate production leaders.
- Help maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Assist schedule trucks for all customers as needed.
- Support Amazon shipments.
- Oversee freight quotes using Williams & Associates system.
- Manage Mayne picking, packing and shipping of white glove, sample, backorder and replacement drop ship orders.
- Scan and send receiving documents to appropriate team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); required

``` - Experience using power tools - Fork lift experience, Myers certified preferred - Basic proficiency using computer systems - Attention to detail - Must be able to work up to 10 hour days - Must be able to work in a fast paced environment - Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position
