Job Description

Based in one of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s manufacturing sites in Fremont, CA you will be part of our Global Commercial Operations team, building relationships with our customers and colleagues. What Will You Do?

  • Coach, onboard, and facilitate development of the Customer Service Liaison (CSL) team.

  • Enhance the relationships between both the Sales Representative as well as the Customer.

  • Analyze, forecast and present Sales Revenue through various integrated models (i.e., DASH, SFDC…) to Sales and Executive Leadership teams.

  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DASH training and enhancements.

  • Maintain an Active leadership role with multiple Teams, including, Compensation, CAS, CX and Logistics.

  • Assist in the field through training, Co-Travel with Sales Representatives and Sales Leaders.

  • Assume the role of the face of Commercial Operations in Customer Facing Meetings, Sales Manager QBRs and Sales Leadership Meetings

  • Effectuate, track, promote and advocate all of the policies, budgets, AOP, quotas, and quarterly sales promotions as a Key member of the Sr. Director of Sales (NORAM) leadership team.

  • Liaise with other departments and company sites to ensure timely shipments and invoicing.

  • Actively engage in relevant PPI, Process Improvements

How Will You Get There?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred OR previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Operations role or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, DASH, Teams, familiarity with remaining Microsoft Office programs.

  • SFDC experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to work under pressure while retaining a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed
