Chaar Pet Groomer / Stylist in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Chaar is now hiring pet groomers for our Allentown, PA location as well as other Lehigh Valley locations. Come be a part of our team!
Duties:
Produce professional quality grooms
Communicate effectively with grooming clients
Maintain cleanliness and safety in all parts of the grooming salon
Cooperate with the team to achieve store goals and create superb customer experiences
Schedule grooming appointments and answer calls & customer inquiries related to grooming
Assist in all areas of creating a positive customer experience in the business.
Requirements:
1+ years of pet grooming experience in a professional grooming salon or completion of grooming school
Ability to consistently groom small dogs such as Shih-Tzus in 90 minutes (1.5 hrs) or less with safe and professional results
Ability to consistently groom large dogs such as Golden Doodles in 150 minutes (2.5 hrs) or less with safe and professional results
Cooperative / works well with others
Good time management skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours at a time)
Excellent customer service attitude
Basic computer literacy for use of scheduling and point of sale systems
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of 4+ hours
Must have hand, wrist, & finger dexterity and strength required for handling and grooming pets
Must be able to bend, twist, reach, and perform other movements necessary for pet grooming
Pay & Benefits:
50% Commission with guaranteed base wage.
Full time groomers who follow successful re-booking processes and sales strategies can earn up to $70k/year
