Job Title: Packaging Technician

Job Description

• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility. • Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner. • Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products while ensuring adherence to specifications and the highest quality standards. • Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections and other necessary tasks. • Perform computer-related tasks to carry out necessary duties. • Participate in start-up and closure of packaging jobs. • Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP. • Assemble, fill, package, and label pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products. • Perform computer-related tasks for signing into a job, in-process actions, and data entry. • Perform counts of components and drug product.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

• Must be okay working in a freezer environment. * Candidates should be aware that this is a clean room environment that requires gowning. This video can be shared with candidates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfNgRv5nvAs&feature=youtu.be * Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE) including but not limited to filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half face masks, and safety glasses is required to perform this position. * PAPR/Refrigerator - $2 extra on base pay for every hour worked. * Freezer - $3 extra on base pay for every hour worked.
