ChildFirst Services, Incorporated Medication Administration Training Coordinator in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate, teach, and maintain documentation of in-person medication training for Spectrum Community Services and Child First Services employees on a weekly basis
- Maintain professional communication with onboarding trainers, HR and regional team members regarding new hires, retraining, and completed observations
- Schedule and conduct ongoing medication observations for all staff certified in medication administration and ensure timely submission of corresponding documentation
- Complete regular medication audits at the assigned programs
- Provide corrective action for medication errors and refresher trainings as needed
- Monitor daily administration of medication to ensure compliance and reduce errors
- Participate in meetings as required
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Schedule Expectations
Hours of Work (40 hours plus 2 Hours of mandatory OT per week):
- 1st Position: Sunday to Tuesday 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM and Wednesday 8:30 to 2:30 PM
- 2nd Position: Wednesday 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Thursday to Saturday 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Qualifications
- Candidate should already be an active PA Certified Medication Administration Trainer or have given medications for at least 6 months after completing the PA Medication Administration Student Course
Ability to Relocate:
- Allentown, PA 18106: Relocate before starting work (Required)
