Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Scheduler to join a dynamic healthcare team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling caregivers to ensure efficient and effective patient care, as well as actively participating in the recruitment of new caregivers to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage caregiver schedules, carefully matching patients with appropriate caregivers based on patient needs and caregiver expertise.

• Track shifts, leaves, and staff availability while staying ahead of scheduling conflicts.

• Coordinate with caregivers to fill vacancies and manage last-minute scheduling changes.

• Communicate schedule changes to all relevant parties promptly and effectively.

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new caregivers, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes.

• Help to build and maintain a reliable, qualified pool of healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate records of caregivers and patient scheduling.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in medical scheduling or staffing; experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using HR software systems and scheduling tools.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
