Kforce has a client in Allentown, PA that is seeking an experienced IT Field Tech to assist with equipment deployment project.Summary:The client is looking for an experienced PC Tech to travel to healthcare facilities within 90 minutes of Bethlehem, PA area and swap out/install IT devices. The Tech will confirm with end user that new desktop image is correct; answer any questions end user may have; and escalate problems to appropriate IT team for resolution. They will also document issues and resolutions.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred

• A minimum of 2 years of experience performing Level 1 technology support

• Prior experience in a large enterprise environment doing IT help desk or field support experience required; Experience imaging PCs; Troubleshooting hardware issues and Win7 and Win10 knowledge preferred

• Tech must demonstrate strong ability to work well with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving abilities and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS

• Heavy end user interaction; Good communication skills; Positive and professional demeanor; And eagerness to help others is a must

• Hours Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM (somewhat flexible)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
