Registered Nurse (RN)—Cardiac Rehab—PRN Days

WORK LOCATION : Texas Health Allen--1105 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013

WORK HOURS : PRN II; requires 3 shifts every 6 weeks; some weekend and holiday requirements

Our Cardiac Rehab Department is looking for a Registered Nurse on a PRN basis to join our team who maintains a high degree of confidentiality possesses positive interpersonal skills and is customer service focused. This position will be located at our Craig Ranch location.

Cardiac Rehab highlights:

· Responsible for Cardiac Rehab classes

· Class ratio is 8:1

· Classes are supported by both Registered Nurse and Exercise Physiologist

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

· Diploma of Nursing OR Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required;

· BSN preferred.

· One-year experience as a registered nurse required

· One Year as a Cardiac Rehab or Telemetry Nurse strongly preferred

· Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
