A Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities of designated supply line projects and solutions to ensure that the overall front line project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget using approved KONE methodologies and tools. You will coordinate the engineering and supply responsibilities of a project and ensure supply tasks and deliverables are on time, profitable, meet customer expectations and the expected levels of safety and quality. Manage the interaction between all key stakeholders for this phase of a project. Improves and develops the processes and tools related to daily work and supports the order management and order engineering teams.
As Project Manager for Supply Line, your main responsibilities will be:
Using a feasible solution to complete the supply project safely, on time and within budget.
Acting as one contact point in supply line for projects in execution phase.
In charge of receiving the elevator/equipment/component orders from frontline and booking the order into the supply line Order Book.
Verify the received order information, steering order bound engineering and confirming the order to front line.
Manage project design quality planning, sourcing planning and logistics planning.
Supply chain scheduling across KONE .
Supply project variation and scope management.
Receiving and processing clarification requests from frontline, involving internal and external interest groups if necessary.
Effective collaboration and communication with and between all stakeholders.
Composing, collecting and distributing necessary technical information to frontline.
Informing frontline about any deviations in delivery operations.
Providing support for Supply Line claims.
Making sourcing decisions for main components.
Confirming material delivery times and transfer prices to frontlines.
Identifying and facilitating project related change management activities.
Shared responsibility for supply project cost control with Front Line (FL) Project Manager but with direct responsibility for the project’s financial result in supply line.
Resource planning for the supply project and leading the multifunctional supply project teams.
Managing Supply Line (SL) Project Start Up meeting and Design review meetings.
Supply project reporting, project audits, internal handovers and supply project final closure.
Manage and approve project variations.
Coach Project Coordinators / Specialists.
Participate in project steering group meetings providing project management input.
Resource, financial and quality planning for the supply project and leading the multi-functional supply project teams.
Custom equipment vendor management.
The desired candidate will have:
Minimum 3-years of experience in project management
SAP
Cost management
Manage transfer price and cost understanding of delivery chain
Supply chain delivery process management competences
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
Fluent level of English, additional languages are a plus
IT skills
Willingness to travel worldwide
Proven track record of improving project profitability in previous projects and in executing projects through successful customer management
Proven track record of successful co-operation with customers
Elevator / Escalator technical competences are a benefit but not required
