    Parts & Fleet Coordinator Job Description

    The Parts & Fleet Coordinator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain standard quantities of parts and materials in the warehouse

  • Maintain standard quantities of parts and materials in service trucks

  • Inventory parts

  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and secure warehouse

  • Order parts and materials

  • Receive parts orders verifying quantity, price, and delivery of correct parts

  • Audit parts orders for accuracy

  • Process parts returns

  • Ensures that all equipment is in proper operating condition, to include maintaining high quality appearance of vehicles and equipment

  • Issue tools and equipment to and from technicians

  • Oversee, schedule, and ensure maintenance of all fleet vehicles

  • Track location of company equipment

  • Maintain fleet tracking software

  • Provide support to technicians for special orders and locating the right part for the job

  • Deliver parts to the jobsite

  • Stay well-informed on parts/materials/equipment pricing to minimize company costs

  • Maintain communication with vendors and factory personnel concerning warranty issues, product recall notices, operational problems with products, premature failures and other issues as they apply to products and equipment sold and serviced

  • Ensure required parts are ordered in timely fashion to meet work deadlines

  • Maintain relationships with our suppliers to optimize delivery patterns

  • Assist in product and material research for technicians and management

  • Collaborate closely with leadership to develop, implement, and maintain an inventory and purchase order system for parts

    Parts & Fleet Coordinator Job Requirements

    The Parts & Fleet Coordinator should possess the following experience, skills, characteristics, and abilities:

  • Positive attitude

  • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer literacy

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Work well in team environment to accomplish organizational goals
