OVERVIEW Now Hiring! Full Time Home Health Patient Scheduling Coordinator $21.00 an hour to $25.00 an hour DOE Office Location:Signature Healthcare at Home 909 S. 336th Street, Suite 100 Federal Way, WA 98003 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Overview: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patient/client physician orders, pre- authorizations and patient/client visits of physician orders, pre-authorizations and patient/client visits. Accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office and staff. Responsible for matching patient needs with staff talents and knowledge.   • Facilitates communications and works effectively between staff, patient/families, vendors, providers
  • Completes scheduled work flow by assigning appropriate team members to planned frequency of visits
  • Assist agency personnel in the care coordination of patient/client services
  • Serves as a liaison between the organization, referral services, patients, clients and personnel
  • Assists in identifying opportunities for additional/improved services and methods
  • Actively participates in IDT meetings, department meetings, in-service, QAPI activities, and other related activities as appropriate
  • Consistently represents Signature Healthcare at Home with integrity and professionalism to all internal and external customers
  • Adheres to HIPAA regulations per Company policy and Federal regulations
  • Performs other duties and activities as delegated by the Administrator/Clinical Manager


  • High School diploma or College degree preferred
  • Minimum two years' experience in administrative position in healthcare setting
  • Minimum one-year experience in scheduling experience in healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrates good communications, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
  • Possess a valid driver's license and insurance in accordance with state and/or organization requirements
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology
