The Group Leader/Auxiliary Leader assists the Supervisor in the day to day operation of the department. This includes planning, organizing, coordinating and leading throughout the work day. The appointee works closely with all team members facilitating the Supervisors leadership. The appointee will also take on a supervisory role when the department supervisor is on vacation or not otherwise present on the job. The appointee must be available for call in, overtime and on call duty. The appointee will also take on special tasks or projects at the direction of the Supervisor.
