Description

Provides initial workforce intake and on-going assessment of client abilities, needs, interests, and work preferences to include interviewing participants and identifying employment history and job preference.

Assists participants in developing and implementing Career Development Plans (CDP) and Barriers to Employment Success Inventory (BESI) to include outlining employment goals and objectives.

Maintains client information and employment database in Enterprise NonProfit Software (ETO); prepares required progress and outcomes reports in a timely manner.

Assists clients with preparing resumes and cover letters in alignment with job market and career goals.

Coordinate's and provides the necessary job readiness supports, career preparation and work experience activities to meet the demands of the current job market and individual client interests, and assists clients in employment advancement efforts.

Develops and maintains relationship with the business community; serves as a liaison between participant and employer; and attends weekly case staff meetings and monthly partnership meetings.

Assists with securing job placement and retention; performs assessments duties for accommodations and worksite modifications; and provides guidance and referrals as necessary.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience: Minimum of three years requirement.

Computer Knowledge: Must have intermediate experience in Excel, Outlook, Word, Databases, Statistical Software and Basic computer and internet proficiency.
