Wiley & Wilson Senior Technology Systems Designer in Alexandria, Virginia

The Senior Technology Systems Designer will be oneof the Company's primary resources for the delivery of structured cabling systems, audio/visual and electronic security systems design. You will help manage your discipline's contributions to projects, from pursuit, to inception, to completion, and may oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on a specialized component of a project's design. You will be responsible for working with Project Managers, Senior Engineers and other Project Engineers to develop design concepts and to execute detailed design documents.

The following demonstrated abilities are required: Subject matter expert in all areas of discipline specialty. Discipline lead for design of complex projects. Mentoring and professional growth of junior staff. Create and maintain positive internal and external relationships with co-workers and clients. Lead and be a key team member in areas related to business development.

Requirements:

  • BICSI RCDD certification
  • Excellent skills in the areas organization, management, communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success at delivering projects within schedule and budget and mentoringteam members
  • Demonstrated success in achieving a high level of client satisfaction
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance(active clearance preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years' ofexperience with Structured Cabling Systems, Audio Visual and Electronic Security Systems design
  • Experience working with federal government clients required
  • Project Management experience required
  • Minimum 5 years' ofexperience with building modeling using Autodesk Revit Software
