In this position you will be responsible for working with design staff, coordinating with other disciplines and for client communication and satisfaction. Our mechanical practice includes HVAC and plumbing design for buildings as well as controls and commissioning of these systems. You will lead the design effort in these areas on multiple, concurrent projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia - or within 3 months of start datethrough reciprocity
• Between 10 and 20years ofexperienceofMechanical Engineering from theconsulting industry
• Experience with AutoCAD MEP and Revit
• Field knowledge of mechanical systems
• Familiarity with Trane Trace 700 analysis software
• Knowledge and application of sustainable design practices
• Must be eligible to work in the United States andto obtain asecurity clearance(active DoD or DoE clearance preferred)
