Emerson Outside Sales Engineer in ALCOBENDAS, Spain

As an Outside Sales Engineer , you will take over the sales activities of Instrumentation products, developing strategies and providing technical advice to our customers in Spain.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability within customers.

  • Actively promote and sell business unit offerings including products, solutions and services.

  • Visit existing and new potential customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services.

  • Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.

  • Maintain and continuously develop high level of products and technologies knowledge required to perform the job.

You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance. You break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You negotiate skillfully in tough situations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree or comparable technical education.

  • At least 3 years of technical sales experience in the industrial market.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Spanish and English proficiency (written/read/spoken).

  • Availability for local and international travel.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
