Emerson Field Service Engineer in ALCOBENDAS, Spain

As a Field Service Engineer based anywhere in Spain, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our installed customer base of Emerson instruments, including in-house, on-site maintenance and repair services, site installation, commissioning and diagnostic, start-up and after sales support.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Carry out installation/commissioning, fault analysis, and repairs.

  • Provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, calibration and start up services.

  • Provide technical support and on-site customer training when required.

  • Assist Sales Engineers in the demonstration of products to potential customers and provide guidance in product applications and after sales services.

  • Undertake professional development trainings to keep up to date with new products, processes and technologies in order to provide quality services to our customers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering or technical background.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as an instrument technician in a process control environment, with a particular emphasis in diagnostic, installation and start-up.

  • Good command of Spanish and English languages.

  • Driving license and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Demonstrated experience with pressure, flow, temperature and analytical devices.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
