ASRC Federal Holding Company Work Clearance Permit Technician in Albuquerque, New Mexico

ASRC Federal Netcentric Technologies, LLC is seeking Work Clearance Permit Technician to support our support the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-construction meetings base-wide and briefs the Work Clearance Request Process, explaining the steps and time required to complete.

  • Provides the Work Clearance Request Process to include contact information, AF Form 103 (Dig Permit Request Form) and site plan if needed to the Requestor.

  • Receives completed AF Form 103 and site map from the Requestor. Assign a tracking number, note date received, and enter information on the tracking log.

  • Create an electronic file of the AF Form 103 by transcribing the information from the AF Form 103 to the newly created electronic file. Generate individual 8 ½ x 11 site utility maps in PDF format for all utilities located with the area of work from KAFB GIS Database with a polygon feature outlining the requested work area to identify the area.

  • Manage all files in an electronic database.

  • Communicate with all Coordinating Agencies for approval of requested dig permit.

  • Monitor status of all outstanding work clearance requests daily. Contact Coordinating Agency regarding status via email and or phone as needed.

  • Upon final approval, notify requestor that the Work Clearance Request (Dig Permit) is ready for pick up.

  • Perform routine and emergency miscellaneous drafting requirements upon government request.

Requirements :

  • Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of one year of experience using and developing proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe software suites

  • Minimum of three months experience in use of CAD, GIS, or graphic design software.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Must maintain a valid US driver's license.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.

  • Be willing and able to work with customers and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.

  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in applied science (Architectural/Engineering Drafting Technology)

  • Completion of the Environmental Science Research Institute (ESRI) Certified Introduction and Intermediate training in ArcGIS
