General description of duties:
The Shipment Research Validation Research Analyst identifies customers with repetitive patterns of freight bill characteristics including, but not limited to, inaccurate shipment weights, descriptions, and cubes. This position researches individual account-based scenarios and develops corrective action plans.

Job Duties
Identify customers with patterns of incorrectly billed and rated shipment weights and descriptions.
Research causes behind inaccurate applications as well as customer’s overall freight profile.
Document correct classifications, including historical Weighting & Research activity.
Help identify potential impacts.
Develop corrective action plans and communicate them to appropriate Pricing and Sales personnel.
Implement action plans and follow through to ensure correct freight bill rating.
Independently select shipments for inspection and provide complete and accurate documentation for proper correction to freight bills.
Audit of past and present freight bills related to APA and SRV historical data.
Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements: Understanding of ABF tariff rules and applications, as well as ABF Pricing policies and procedures, preferred. Understanding of the NMFC Classifications and their rules and applications.
