Quality & Patient Safety Manager Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality & Patient Safety Manager (Registered Nurse). In this pivotal role, you will oversee quality data and outcomes, providing leadership and direction to a dedicated team focused on improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the collection, abstraction, entry, retrieval, submission, and analysis of clinical data from multiple registries and platforms, including STS Adult Cardiac registry, NCDR Cath PCI, CAD, TAVR, CHF, Vascular, and LAAO registries.

• Develop and implement methods to analyze and report data, using insights to drive performance improvement initiatives that enhance patient care.

• Lead regulatory compliance activities related to cardiovascular services, ensuring adherence to standards set by The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of data management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Utilize data to identify trends, develop strategies, and implement solutions to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Required Skills:

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience.

• Cardiac nursing experience.

• Expertise in care management, medical record management, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular services and related clinical data registries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program and/or certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARDMS, or equivalent registration or eligibility.

• Full state of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification.

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Work Environment:

Monday - Friday on day shifts

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $114400.00/yr.
