We are looking for a highly organized and service-oriented team member to carry out our passion for service by maintaining the point-of-sale systems for our 21 restaurants.

    The IT manager will bring the technological skills to take the company to the next level and will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience as a manager, POS Point of Sale systems and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the efficiency of operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth. The IT Manager will collaborate with all departments to utilize the tools currently used to optimize efficiency, increase output, decrease inaccuracies, ease the burden of manual processes, ensure compliance and increase communication. This position is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and no relocation package will be offered.

    Essential Functions:

  • Maintain POS databases, configurations, and assist with implementation of new POS venues. Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware

  • Develop new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs. Creating strategies for upgrading the company’s network software whenever updates are available.

  • Manage and administer Microsoft software licenses across the organization. Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and maintain accurate records of licenses and subscriptions.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience with Office 365 applications, particularly SharePoint. Develop and customize SharePoint sites to meet the specific needs of various departments and teams. Train employees on SharePoint usage and best practices for collaboration and document management.

  • Oversee and manage the organization's camera software systems. Coordinate Set up, configuration, and maintenance of camera software to ensure optimal functionality and security.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to camera software and surveillance systems.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in working with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and systems.

  • Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.

  • Implementing plans to ensure the network continues to operate smoothly in the event of unforeseen issues.

  • Staying up to date with network technology and informing the executive team.

  • Work in collaboration with other departments.

  • Develops internal Service Level Agreement (SLA) for department.

  • Designs, configures and installs network infrastructure, including wireless equipment, hubs, switches, cabling, and peripherals.

  • Troubleshoots visually and remotely to determine root-cause analysis.

  • Routinely monitor, track, and correct system abnormalities.

  • Supports each restaurant's and office surveillance and digital menu board maintenance needs.

  • Acts as liaison between organization and third-party IT administrator to support team's needs.

  • Tracks inquiries submitted to third party IT administrator and takes appropriate action as needed.

  • Assists departments in carrying out various point-of-sale inquiries and requests.

  • Maintains menu pricing accuracy across all platforms (POS, internal costing spreadsheets, menu boards and online menus).

  • Oversee and/or perform database entry: Perform daily add, change, and delete requests. Routinely enter and modify data, such as menu items, discounts, taxes, employee information, etc.

  • Collaborate with the 3rd party vendors to create guides and do-it-yourself (DIY) training materials for users, empowering them to resolve common IT-related issues independently.

  • Maintains monthly food (prep) cost trackers. Maintains the POS and compiles reports from the database as needed along with accurate inventory of all software.

  • On call status required for assistance with IT related issues.

  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications

Work Environment:

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, shredders, fax machines, calculators and filing cabinets as well as other equipment when necessary.

Office positions require sedentary sitting. Position may require constant, frequent, or occasional: standing, walking, lifting, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

The noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is an exempt position. Typical days and hours of work for this position are Monday-Sunday varying hours between 4am-8pm. On call required at times. Other days/hours required as needed or assigned, including holidays.

Required Education and Experience:

A directly relevant associate degree OR A minimum of two years of related experience

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.

  • Satisfactory completion of a background check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business and technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, internal and external customers, and the general public.

    Travel:

    Up to 50%

    Other Responsibilities:

    Assist with other office clerical functions including other assigned office duties in other areas of the department and/or company as needed or assigned.
