Work Schedule: Days
Performs maintenance operations on the grounds of PHS-Albuquerque facilities. Under direct supervision, the Grounds-1 will perform weekly maintenance of lawn and shrub areas as well as irrigation systems.
*Performs weekly grounds maintenance at assigned PHS facilities..
*Performs weekly and as needed maintenance of grounds department equipment.
*Under supervision, maintains irrigation systems..
*Continuously improves technical knowledge and skills through participation in education programs and is-service meetings.
*Supports organizational visions, values and strategies
*Handling and packaging of Universal Waste; florescent bulbs, batteries, mercury containing equipment
*Proper labeling of Universal Waste containers including accumulation start date
*Knowledge of Universal Waste accidental release procedures
*Understanding of infrequent disposal of hazardous waste; flammables, toxics, oxidizers, corrosives
*Handling and packaging of Used Oil/Used Hydraulic Fluids for proper disposal
*Proper labeling of Used Oil containers including accumulation start date
*Knowledge of Used Oil/Used Hydraulic Fluid accidental release procedures and collection/clean up
Less than High school required. No experience required.
Must have valid driver license and be insurable.

Operated equipment, vibrating tools, and small tools

SKILL-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.
SKILL-Able to work under limited supervision, self manage work time and projects, resolve issues with minimal assistance.
