TECO Energy Accountant I/II/Sr. in Albuquerque, New Mexico
This position will be open to internal and external applicants and will close on Monday, September 30, 2024.
The Accountant I position pays between $54,720 and $68,400; the Accountant II position pays between $63,440 and $79,300; and the Senior Accountant position pays between $78,640 and $98,300. Placement in any level is based on the skills, education and experience of the successful candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries
Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts
Prepare reports filed with regulatory agencies
Contribute to department month-end closeout responsibilities
Prepare account analysis and research account variances
Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Accountant II and Senior Accountant: Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities
Successful Candidate Must Have:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or financial-related field
A Valid driver’s license
Accountant II: Minimum of 3 years of financial work experience. With a Master’s Degree in Accounting or financial-related field, the minimum experience requirement is 1 year of experience.
Senior Accountant: Minimum of 5 years of financial work experience. With a Master’s Degree in Accounting or financial-related field, the minimum experience requirement is 3 years of financial work experience.
