    Summary

    The Site Manager is responsible for the schedule and technical performance of the programs or subsystems of the 58 TRS program.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Site Manager:

  • oversees all phases of programs from inception through completion.

  • acts as the primary Customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with the local Government to discuss schedule and technical performance.

  • establishes milestones and monitors adherence to plans, processes and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or the need to change contractual specifications.

  • directs and guides the work of the Training System Managers, Training Resources Manager, Security, and Chief Contract Instructors as required.

  • is the approval authority for all site organizational changes and staffing needs.

  • is the review authority for process deviation and waiver requests submitted by the site.

  • is responsible for knowing, understanding, and applying the requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

  • is responsible for reviewing, providing input and distributing contract modifications to relevant stakeholders and managers.

  • is responsible for scheduling and conducting recurring Staff Meetings.

  • is responsible for preparing for and attending the weekly Kick-off Meeting with the 58 TRS Commander, Director of Operations and Government Project Officer.

  • attends the weekly student orientation for all new US Air Force courses and provides a briefing on contractor roles and responsibilities.

  • is responsible for scheduling and supporting the Program Status Briefing (PSB) on biweekly basis.

  • is responsible for final review and distribution of the PSB briefing package prior to each meeting.

  • is responsible for the oversight and management of the Opposing Forces (OPFOR) subcontractor.

  • schedules and leads the monthly OPFOR team status meeting.

  • chairs the Facilities Review Board (FRB) on a monthly basis to review status of open work orders and general facility maintenance.

  • is responsible for participating in all Corrective Action Boards (CAB) in response to Government issues Corrective Action Requests (CAR).

  • is responsible for conducting reviews of assigned CDRLs.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word

  • Must be able to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customers.

  • Must be able to work independently and direct subordinates.

  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

  • Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.

Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

    Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Majority of work will be performed in an office environment.

  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule and as required.

    Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to sit and operate personal computer for extended periods of time.

    Occasional business domestic travel required.
