Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant role. The role involves handling general accounting operations, maintaining accounting records, and participating in the financial closing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing general ledger accounts, preparing monthly financial reporting packages, and assisting in the budget process.

Responsibilities:

• Complete month-end financial closing process, including account reconciliations, analysis, and journal entry preparation

• Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and understanding; report any discrepancies

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and reports for distribution to the management team

• Participate in the year-end financial audit by preparing workpapers and reports for external auditors

• Ensure timely and accurate remittance of sales taxes, government filings, and account reconciliations

• Manage daily cash reporting and fixed asset management, including additions, disposals, and depreciation analysis

• Assist in the budget process and undertake any other responsibilities related to treasury/accounting as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant

• Excellent Communication Skills are essential

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close activities

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements and conduct Financial Analysis
