Inventory Control Specialist Shift:2nd Shift Plant 1and Plant 2

Scheduled Hours: 4:00pm 1:00am

Primary Responsibility:

This position is responsible for keeping Inventory of ingredients (cut raw product, product that has not been cut, finished product in freezer). Employee must be able to keep work area clean and organized. Responsible for keeping documentation by cut codes. Must be able to follow guidelines concerning Follow FIFO (First In-First Out). Must be able to follow guidelines concerning product quality, legality, and safety.This is a safety sensitive position.

Functional Responsibilities:

• People Skills-Able to communicate with production employees to get proper codes.
• Able to work with breading containing allergens: Wheat, Milk, Soy and Eggs
• Able to work inside the freezer
• Learn new skills and assist with improving current processes.

Minimum Skills and requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Basic Math skills (multiplication and division using calculator)
• Follow plant GMP, Safety and USDA guidelines

Physical Environment:

• Ability to work in humid and warm environment (90 +/- F)
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (\> 85 decibels) and moving production lines
• Breading used in production creates a dusty environment
• Prolong periods of standing

Preferred Skills:

• Poultry processing experience.
• Warehouse or Inventory Experience.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
