ATI in Millersburg, Oregon is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Coordinator to join our team. As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the chemical manufacturing process to ensure efficient and effective production operations. Your role will include planning and scheduling, inventory management, quality control, process improvement, team coordination, data analysis and reporting, training and development, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and scheduling: Coordinate production activities, create production schedules, and ensure efficient use of resources to meet production targets and customer demands.

  • Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels, track materials and supplies, conduct month end inventory task compliance, and ensure availability of required components for production.

  • Quality control: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures, conduct inspections, and address any quality issues that arise during the production process.

  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, and implement appropriate measures to enhance production performance.

  • Team coordination: Collaborate with various departments and teams, such as supply chain, procurement, and engineering to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the production process.

  • Safety compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conduct safety inspections, and promote a safe work environment for all employees.

  • Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analyze production data, generate reports on production performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Training and development: Provide training and guidance to production employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

  • Continuous improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve production goals.

  • Troubleshooting: Resolve production-related issues, investigate root causes of problems, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 2 or more years of experience in an Operations role within an industrial environment.

  • Able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle.

  • Proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Accounting experience.
