The HR Business Operations Partner will provide essential support to the HR Site Business Partner by handling various operational HR tasks, enabling the HR team to focus on strategic initiatives. This role involves assisting with day-to-day HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and data management. The HR Business Operations Partner ensures HR operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall effectiveness of the HR department. This position reports to the HR Site Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve employee inquiries and concerns, escalating complex issues as needed

  • Maintain accurate records of employee interactions, ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality

  • Administer employee engagement and recognition programs

  • Coordinate with centralized recruitment teams to ensure a smooth hiring process, including communication with hiring leaders and candidates

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and training coordination

  • Ensure compliance with pre-employment requirements and timely submission of necessary documents

  • Manage and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

  • Generate HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning

  • Prepare HR presentations and documentation for meetings with senior leadership

  • Support the HR Site Business Partner in administering compensation programs, including tracking changes, preparing documentation, and communicating with employees

  • Conduct basic compensation analyses to assist in ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness

  • Liaise with the centralized benefits team to address employee inquiries and issues

  • Enforce HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and comply with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with audits and compliance checks, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Oversee the filing and organization of HR documents, both physical and digital, to maintain confidentiality and accessibility

  • Participate in HR projects, including process improvements, policy development, and employee engagement initiatives

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for HR events, such as workshops, seminars, and employee meetings

  • Collaborate with the HR Site Business Partner on special projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the HR department

  • Partner with Enterprise Centers of Excellence for Talent Management, Benefits and Compensation, HRIS, Work Comp / Leave, Inside Counsel and Payroll to execute on Key responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • In lieu of a degree, 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field

Skills

  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

  • Experience in a centralized HR environment is a plus

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate reports and metrics

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and basic data analysis

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality

Salary Range: $76,900 to $99,900/ annually
