The Quality Coordinator is responsible for conducting quality monitoring, problem-solving quality issues, conducting review and remediation, making recommendations and implementing strategies to promote continuous improvement.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years quality assurance experience; monitoring, analyzing, and trending

  • Experience in healthcare setting; hospital and physician registration and/or billing experience required

  • Strong computer skills including EXCEL, WORD, and ACCESS

  • Training adult learners

  • Experience with EPIC preferred

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Ability to monitor data quality, analyze, and trend data

  • Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports

  • Monitor real-time performance

  • Make recommendations for improvement to end users, leadership, and stakeholders

  • Create job aids, training materials, and policy and procedures

  • Recommend training for staff as needed to help ensure quality and compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures; provide remediation as necessary

  • Strong customer service skill with ability to work with diverse population

  • Strong analytic and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; must have advanced skills in EXCEL, WORD and ACCESS

  • Database development and management

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skill

  • Versatility and flexibility to work within a constantly changing environment

  • Team minded worth ethic
