Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?

The Telco industry is undergoing several paradigms shifts and as the Solution Architect in Service Provider and Edge BU (SEBU), you will architect the right set of end-to-end solutions that positions VMware's Telco Cloud portfolio in a unique light. From programmatic RAN to massively distributed 5G deployments to public cloud based VNFs & CNFs to private mobile networks to Mobile Edge Computing, the industry is witnessing several digital transformations and you will be right in the midst facilitating this transformation.

We create validated solutions with 3rd party components which means SA’s on our team get to work across a diverse array of fields throughout their time here. A SA might work on a 3D positioning xAPP on our RIC for 4 months and then hop over to AI enabled subscriber analytics application on TCP Cloud or digital twin application on VMware Edge Compute Stack. This means our team is constantly learning about new industries and new customer needs. We are starting a new solution every 5-6 months so we get to immerse ourselves in new problems and a wide array of potential solutions all year.

Our sweet spot is showing our customers how to achieve desired use cases by co-creating the solution with them. We break the mold by devising new applications for VMware products, building patentable IP on the way thereby creating thought leadership. As subject matter experts and thought leaders, it's normal for us to be on a blended team of sales and customer personnel who are eager to learn what we know.

Solution Architects at SEBU are hungry to learn and love sharing what they know. Our customers look at us to create new monetization opportunities for their networks.
