Destination Kia is a locally owned and operated dealership with a busy service shop on Central Avenue in Albany, NY. We are looking for experienced and motivated automotive technicians to join our team! Whether you are looking for a change in scenery or growth opportunity—look no further!All level techs are desired especially ASE Certified Technicians! Must have an ACTIVE driver's license and NYS Inspection License Required.Must be able to work on and repair multiple makes of vehiclesMust have the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissionsMust have manual dexterity, good judgment and ability to operate power and hand tools and other types of machinery safely and efficientlyPerforms work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and our manufacturer standards Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended Communicates with the Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order Road tests vehicles when required Participates in manufacturer sponsored training programs, schools and eventsWe offer a full benefits package (medical, dental, supplemental insurance, FSA, HSA w/employer contribution and a 401k plan with ER match) and most importantly, COMPETITIVE PAY!
